Area of Design was founded in May 2002 by Dallas-based graphic design firm, JABEYE. The design portal has achieved quick recognition across the internet and continues to attract artists and designers around the world.

AOD showcases established and emerging artists, designers, commercial firms, and non profit groups based in the United States, and provides a forum for community members to express themselves and inspire others by encouraging, educating, and nurturing.

The the goal of elevating art and design to reflect the individual's passion.
